Mahila B.Ed. college, Silar, Aurangabad is established in the year 2006. Recognizing the importance of teachers training institute for imparting quality training to teachers of Secondary Schools in the jurisiditionc of Mahila B.Ed. College, Aurangabad a new facility was constructed. It was provided with necessary infrastructure where classes are running smoothly and NCTE has permission for making hundred students per session for admission.
The institute aims at an integral and personalized training to young women through integral pedagogy-context, experience, reflection, action and envaluation to be well motivated teachers who will be competent morally, socially, spiritualy and intellectually. The institute further aims at promoting values such as respect for cultural heritage, democracy, secularism, equality of sexes, protection of environment. The institute also aims towards enhancing capability by imparting training Infromation Technology, Communication skills, documentation and integrated development of the trainees.
